I have published two books in the last two years - 'Kundalini and the Violet Flame' and 'Friend of the Heart' and both books are available through Amazon. ' Friend of the Heart ' was published in 2017. This is a spiritual novel about Tia; a South African Indian woman’s tumultuous spiritual journey with her divine guru, Sri Sathya Sai Baba covering also her growing acquaintance with Shaheed. Culturally savvy, tall and with model good looks, Shaheed is a choreographer and IT specialist and whose family happens to be partly Hindu and partly Muslim. Tia and him are both South African Indian by birth b ut grew up outside of South Africa. This developing friendship is in sharp contrast to a life-changing experience with a false guru whom Tia trusted initially. The book also looks at the darker side of the spiritual journey; the positives and the pitfalls and the role of gurus. The notion of personal evolution is also examined, including the matters of soul mates
